About Founder

Venugopal Somani

Financial Controller | Internal Audit Manager I HNI |  Family Office | CA | Ex-MBA

Venugopal is an Indian Chartered Accountant, with Master’s degree in Commerce. He is also alumni of the prestigious management institute – IIM Calcutta.


Coming from a remote town in India, he has established himself with a decade-long employment career in Dubai. He has predominantly worked in Internal Audit & Finance across diverse industries.

With a core interest in consulting roles, he has founded “VENUS Tax Accounting & Bookkeeping” to share his experience & knowledge with SMEs & Business Owners, while intending to contribute to the growth of the clients.


Apart from work, he has an interest in socializing, philosophy & cricket.

    systems to facilitate enhanced financial control to make the robust
    business processes
  4. Key member of Executive Management Team for preparation and
    analysis of board papers and provision of profound support to MD/CEO in
    day-to-day operations for arriving strategic organizational decisions
  5. Experience in timely execution of risk-based internal audits in accordance
    with the annual audit plan while assisting in other audit issues & projects
  6. Directed financial analysis; internal and regulatory reporting,
    budgeting, forecasting that led to long-term improvements in cost savings, profitability and productivity
  7. Proficiency in preparing & reviewing financial & management reports
    like cost & benefit analysis, productivity analysis and variance analysis;
